Three-peat! My Third Time Attending NYBFW {Fall 2025}

A few weeks ago I was back in The Big Apple for the fall edition of New York Bridal Fashion Week! It was once again one of my favorite days of the year! I spent the day with my good friend Diane from Dee Kay Events, and we had an absolute blast.

My biggest takeaway from the shows this time around was that all of the dresses were so versatile. My one word to describe it would be “transitional.” Almost every dress had the ability to transform (not only from day-to-night) or had removable elements. For example, Sareh Nouri had pieces where the whole bottom came off to turn into a mini dress. The Galia Lahav dresses had bolsters and sleeves that were able to be removed. Justin Alexander had skirts that were removable. They were all SO cool!

The Shows

Galia Lahav

We walked from the hotel to Soho, where the Galia Lahav show was. The theme was like a combination of carousel and enchanted garden. There were horses throughout and it was such a great show! They bring so much fun to all of their shows - truly. I went in the spring, and it was equally amazing. You’re literally dancing like the whole time - so fun! They featured their signature line and then their couture line, and both were incredible. So good. They finished the show with a really cute candy cart at the end - so sweet (pun intended)!

Justin Alexander

Next, we went to Justin Alexander, who is under the same umbrella as Viktor&Rolf and Savannah Miller. I also went to this show in the spring, and loved it! Justin lives in Westfield, NJ, and we had such a great time talking to him. He was so cool and genuinely cared about talking and getting to know people!

What I love most about his collections is that he always has two different size models wearing his dresses. The dresses looked amazing on both models, but I appreciate seeing gals with curves represented - so stunning! His models are amazing, they give, and they’re all about it. All of his designs are classic and beautiful.

It’s been interesting to see the shift in seating priority over the past few years (at all of the shows). The front row used to be press and those in the bridal industry. But now the front row is dominated by influencers snapping photos and videos and posting away.

Union Square Couture Bridal Market

Then we headed over to the Lotte New York Palace for the Union Square Couture Bridal Market. I saw Anne Barge, who didn’t feature her line for the season, but did showcase her black label line. This line is for mothers of the bride and even bridesmaids. Watching the fittings was so fun and so inspiring! I noticed details in the dresses that reminded me of what I’ve done previously in my own designs, like envelope liners or vellum jackets. So amazing to be a part of!

Sareh Nouri

We ended the day at Sareh Nouri, my favorite of all the shows! I loved her work in the spring, and I loved every single thing about this show - literally. She always ends with a wow moment, usually a colored gown. This season, it was all daisies, and it was absolutely incredible!

Where I Stayed

I stayed in Greenwich Village and spent a lot of time there. It was fun to be in a more neighborhood-like area, instead of right in Midtown/FiDi where everyone sorta seems mis all the time.I stayed at the Walker Hotel, which was hilarious considering my kid's name is Walker. I took it as a sign, and I really loved it!

I also took lots of pictures of architecture, which is one of my favorite things to experience and take pictures of wherever I go.

What I Wore

I was styled by a stylist named Corene at Bloomie's in Shrewsbury. She has styled me before and she is awesome!

What I Sipped (and Ate)

I (of course) stopped for coffee between the Galia Lahav and Justin Alexander shows at Devoción and really enjoyed it!

After the Sareh Nouri show, we had dinner directly across from the hotel at a fantastic Italian restaurant called Da Andrea. The food was incredible, and the service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced! We ended the night with some great live jazz back at the hotel.

The next morning, I brought home Murray’s Bagels and went to L'Appartement 4F - so good!

Overall, it was such an amazing day of shows, and Diane and I had such a fun night! I already can’t wait for next year!!
