Best 6 of the Last 6 {Months of 2024}

Although I’m still waiting on a lot of galleries from the end of last year (to all my couples: please please share when you can), I wanted to share some of my favorite weddings from the second half of 2024!

Let’s jump right in and check out my favorites (in no particular order)!

Anne & Steven

The Venue: Clarks Landing Yacht Club - Point Pleasant, NJ

What I Did: I was actually on-site for this wedding in November, and this couple was lovely to work with! We used my Clarks Landing watercolor and paired it with tons of colors like merlots, blushes, and orange-y peaches. This seating chart was friggin’ amazing! That's actually my structure I had built for another wedding, and Anne had seen it and was like, “I need that!” Sal from Flora and Dean is also amazing. I've never seen someone put something together so quickly. I literally went and bought a coffee while he was working on it, and then it was done! It was an absolute showstopper. Incredible. Ahhhhh! I also created a welcome sign and Anne wanted it to be very simple because we were really playing into the florals and for the seating chart to be the main feature. Stunning. Everything was just magical.

Cara & Rob

The Venue: Brant Beach Yacht Club - Long Beach Township, NJ

What I Did: Loved this wedding. Loveddd this couple! It was my first time painting Brant Beach Yacht Club, so I was very excited about that. We tied the watercolor painting into the invitations and also on the beach badge place cards. We also tied in this cool, trendy vibe that’s happening right now - kind of Italian, alfresco, very spritzy. We incorporated the fun waves, the watercolors, and their pup. We followed with the same theme for the bar, tying in all the icons. We wanted to make it fun, but still included a script that was a little more formal to keep it wedding-appropriate.

I created some epic driftwood table numbers, which came out awesome after a little snafu.  I had ordered flat driftwood that I used for another wedding at Crystal Point Yacht Club, which they saw and loved. I ordered from the same vendor for Cara & Rob, but the order was superrr delayed coming in from Costa Rica. The day before pickup for the wedding, I had no driftwood. I had these authentic driftwood pieces in my shop from another wedding (that a bride didn’t like, so I kept them). And I’m SO glad I did! I started using my miter saw, cut everything down, and the couple loved it. They said it was the best happy accident ever, and it was hands-down all of our favorite part of the wedding. I cut every single piece down. It came out amazing and I was so excited! They were just such a sweet couple!

Jordan & Jacalyn

The Venue: Park Chateau Estate & Gardens - East Brunswick, NJ

What I Did: This two-bride wedding was one of my favorite couples EVER. I worked with them from Save the Dates all the way through to day of. They knew the vibe, knew what they wanted, and they could not have been sweeter! Their oversized invitations included my Park Chateau painting and a vellum jacket with the venue’s gates, and since their wedding was on December 14th, they really wanted to lean into Christmas. We included wreaths and even incorporated Santa stamps.

They let me roll with everything, which made it so fun! I did two epic mirrors—one for their rehearsal dinner and one for day of. One of my favorite signs EVER, and I so appreciated that they gave me full creative liberty. I hand-painted all the trees, and it came out so awesome. Their seating chart was grand, but still simple. We played with green and printed laser-cut letters. I painted the cards and gifts “Letters to Santa” mailbox red. It took six coats - I’m not even kidding. Then I hand-drew their monogram and added in some calligraphy. The green seating chart with the pop of red next to it… so gorgeous! They were such a fun couple. They gave great input, but let me take the reins (no pun intended!). It came out amazing. This was an absolutely stunning wedding (that just so happened to be on my birthday - so fun)!

Leila & Mark

The Venue: The Barn on the Pemi - Plymouth, New Hampshire

What I Did: This wedding was held at the Barn on the Pemi in Plymouth, New Hampshire - my first New Hampshire wedding! I hand-painted the venue and we did letterpress for everything else. It was so gorge. They wanted hand-deckled paper— fave, love! Everything made sense! One of my favorite seating charts everrrrr! It’s actually the first photo on the Events Signage page on my website. Obsesseddd. I hand-painted these pots that originally came in grey, but we discussed colors. Leila wanted pale green and dusty lavender. I purchased all of the colors, she approved, and we added in a few greys. It was incredible. They were lined up with greenery, with a wood welcome sign to tie it all together. I also designed a “Choose Your Seat” sign to match. They were such a fun couple. He wore a purple suit - obsessed! Such beautiful florals. Love love love!

Lindsay & Dmitriy

The Venue: Brooklyn Botanic Garden - Brooklyn, NY

What I Did: Probably one of my favorite weddings ever! Just insane. My first Brooklyn Botanic Garden wedding, and because of this wedding I’ve been able to book SO many more there. Amazing! I curated really fun stamps like the Brooklyn and Verrazano Bridges. Their colors were dusty pinks, yellows, oranges, and a mix of greens. The flowers were UNREAL. Ahhhmazing. I also got to design all the night before items, which was a traditional Korean “paebaek” ceremony which they held at Smith & Wollensky, in full attire. Lindsay wanted a cigar bar lounge vibe, so I suggested smoky black acrylic. They added bright flowers. I chose black deckled paper with silver lettering for the table place cards. Gorgeous!

Then the wedding itself… unreal. They had all these vintage records, so I designed a fun “For the Record” sign, and for the programs we carried the venue watercolor back through. For the seating chart, she didn’t want something big to travel with, and she really let me run with it. We tied it into the flowers, using pressed floral wax seals on sage green paper, white lettering, dusty pink title. So so good. The welcome sign was clear acrylic to let the garden greens shine. The flowers… I can’t even handle it! I die, forever. Inside was all white, and the colors just popped. They used my rented table numbers, and the menus were clean and crisp with green lettering to let the other accents really shine. Cocktails had cute personal meanings and I hand-drew them. So fun! Stunning!

Sam & Chip

The Venue: The Lodge at Stone House - Warren, NJ

What I Did: Sam is the main wedding coordinator at The Ryland Inn, and I’ve worked with her on a lot of weddings there! She got married at another landmark venue, The Lodge at Stone House. Sam said, “I just want colors, fun, shapes—color everywhere.” She gave me the flowers and I modified a watercolor photo to match, which became the liner. One of my favorite flat lays! We tied it together with a simple white bow. Perfect, and it didn’t mess with the colors that were already there. Her flowers were unbelievable. Fantastic. For the welcome sign and seating chart I chose a dusty blue acrylic—more of a dusty denim—and a simple white text printed. I was there in person setting up and she could not have been happier! Stunning. Absolutely to die for!
